What We Do

VA State Outline

Virginia

We distribute period products to menstruators in Greater Richmond through schools and partners. We also run educational seminars, participate in community fairs and advocate for the rights of menstruators. Learn more.

Uganda Country Outline

Uganda

We purchase reusable pad kits for girls in the rural district of Kirinda and water tanks to ensure they have access to water. We also run educational seminars for students and community leaders. Learn more.

When menstruators can’t safely manage their periods, they’re more likely to miss class and fall behind in school. Over time, chronic absenteeism can have serious consequences — it’s linked to higher dropout rates, increased risk of unemployment, long-term poverty, poorer health outcomes, engagement in risky behaviors and greater likelihood of interacting with the criminal justice system.
